Wyatt is now a Microsoft Office Specialist and has earned 3 college credit hours for passing all 3 tests. Congratulations are also in order for Bear Lively and Jesse Frazier. The machining class received their certificates today from the American Cutting Edge (ACE) program. They programmed parts using CAD software to build small air engines. It began as an online course and then they moved on to hands on work with the CNC machine to make their parts to build their air engines.

On Friday, our students had an incredible opportunity to tour Local Union 102 in Oak Ridge!
They got a firsthand look at what it takes to join the union, along with valuable insight into career paths in welding and pipe fitting. From learning about training programs to seeing the skills in action, it was an eye-opening experience that connected classroom learning to real-world opportunities.
We’re so grateful to Local Union 102 for welcoming our students and investing in their future. Experiences like this help spark interest, build confidence, and open doors to rewarding careers in the trades!
