Tonight is the final home game of the regular season. The Bobcats host Whitwell with an 8:00pm kickoff. Gates will open at 6:00 with the Class of 2024 Senior recognition taking place at 7:30. Come out and support our student athletes!


Class of 2024 Senior Picture Make-up Day will be on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the school. If a student has NOT already paid a sitting fee, then they need to do so at prestigeportraits.com.

One of the 12th grade PBL classes at Oliver Springs still needs YOUR help! They are looking for long time community members that are willing to be interviewed about the history of Oliver Springs. They are creating a documentary about the town's history and need participants willing to be recorded whether in video or audio format. If you are interested, or know of someone who would be interested, please email ckitts@roaneschools.com or call the school at 435-7216 and leave your name and contact information for Mrs. Kitts. We are looking to finish conducting these interviews within the next 1-2 weeks after fall break. Thank you!

All 9th-11th graders will be going on STEM and college campus field trips that day to reduce the amount of distraction while seniors are testing. Therefore, parents should be on the lookout for permission slips that must be signed and returned ASAP!


Frat vs Country was a blast! We are loving all of the students creativity and are looking forward to PURPLE AND GOLD DAY tomorrow! The student section theme is GOLD RUSH for Friday night's homecoming game. The homecoming ceremony will take place tomorrow, September 29m at 7:00pm.

The Medic Blood Drive is next Monday, September 25, at OSHS. Students who are over 16 may also donate and need to get a form in the front office for parent signatures. Anyone who donates will receive free movie tickets, variety show tickets, and be entered in a drawing to win $500!


Come out TONIGHT (September 21) to support the OSHS Lady Cat soccer team as they take on Eagleton at home. The class of 2024 seniors will also be honored before the game. The game starts at 6:30. GO LADY CATS and Congratulations to our seniors!


The 2023 season for the OSHS golf team, coached by Tony Brummett and Justin Jenkins, is quickly coming to a close. They begin District Tournament play next Tuesday, September 26, at Kingston. Good luck to our golf team!
