Juniors and Seniors interested in nursing were provided the opportunity to tour and learn about LMU's Caylor School of Nursing (Knox Campus). The students enjoyed the day learning about the program. Thank you LMU for the invite!

Parents, do not forget that students must have a doctor or parent note brought in to the front office when they miss school. Students are only allowed 6 parent notes a year.
The truancy steps are as follows:
After 3 days - letter sent home
After 5 days - have a meeting
After 7 days - do 3 hours of after school
After 10 days - go before truancy board

This Friday night, November 24, Oliver Springs will be hosting a Semi-Final game for the TSSAA football playoffs. OSHS is taking on South Pittsburg and the winner of this game will advance to the state championship. We are looking for generous community members who would like to cover the cost of admissions for students in order to increase school spirit in this exciting match up. We are asking that community members stop by the front office before tomorrow (Tuesday, November 21) by 2:30pm to donate $10 to cover a student's ticket cost to get into the game. Thank you so much! CATS DEFEAT GREENBACK 34-12 in Round 2 of the TSSAA Playoffs!! They advance to Round 3 and will play at Coalfield next Friday, November 17.


Yesterday senior Chloe Lackey signed a letter of intent with the University of South Carolina for a softball scholarship. IMPORTANT CLASS OF 2024 INFORMATION: The attached letter is from Balfour regarding the Class of 2024 invitations and other graduation gear if you would like to purchase items from them. This year your cap and gowns will be purchased through the school to help save on costs. If you have not filled out the cap and gown information on the Google form from Mrs. Jones, please do so ASAP so we can make sure to order the correct sizes.


Class of 2024 Senior Picture Make-up Day will be on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the school. If a student has NOT already paid a sitting fee, then they need to do so at prestigeportraits.com.
