SEPTEMBER FOOTBALL!

There will be NO SCHOOL on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, in observance of Labor Day.

Look who dropped by HHS today—the Principal's Principal! It made Mrs. Lowery's day to see her Principal, Mr. Gary Powell, and to take a walk down memory lane!

The Student Ambassadors are taking orders for the 2024-2025 Blue Crew T-shirt—the official Student Section and Devil Fan apparel! Ambassadors will be in the lobby each morning to take orders and set up at the Kingston and Wartburg football games. See the attached image for pricing.

The Blue Devils' home opener is Friday night against Kingston. Remember to bring a new throw blanket for the Rivalry Balnnket Rumble!!

It is time to get back in the swing of things! Here's a little reminder that students are released to First Block at 8:00, and the Tardy Bell is at 8:10. We hope you will keep up with what is happening at HHS by checking out our website https://hhs.roaneschools.com/
WE ARE... HARRIMAN! Be READY! Be RESPECTFUL! Be RESPONSIBLE!

Today marked the LAST First Day of school for our Seniors. Several met in the student parking lot for Senior Sunrise and breakfast provided by Bojangles. We look forward to celebrating more milestones with this class and making this the best year yet!

Thank you to the City of Harriman for providing our faculty and staff with lunch from El Cants on Thursday! We also want to thank Gary & Glenna Aytes for a yummy breakfast! This outpouring of love helps set the tone for a GREAT year! #WeAreHarriman

We would like to thank the Avery Trace Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for donating school supplies to help us prepare for the new school year!

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!
HHS is hosting the annual Football Jamboree, so come check out this year's line up of our local teams.

Mark your calendar and make plans to attend the National Night Out!

Get your car washed this Saturday and support the HHS Rhapsody in Blue Band! They will be set up at Walden Square, just off N. Roane Street in downtown Harriman, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We're adding a familiar face to our Blue Devil Family. Mrs. Karlene Briley will join the HHS staff as our new Guidance Counselor. She has been working in the Roane County School System for 20+ years and is an alumnus of HHS. We know she is looking forward to getting reacquainted with HHS, meeting our staff, and helping our students grow and achieve their dreams and become an important resource for their journey through life.

Thank you to Nurse Kate for all the bandages, peppermints, ice packs, and change of clothes and for tirelessly making us feel better every day! You are the HEARTBEAT of our school!
