2026 Homecoming Week at Oliver Springs High School
Homecoming Week is coming up at Oliver Springs High School, and we are looking forward to a fun-filled week of activities for our students, families, and school community!
Homecoming festivities will take place Monday, September 14 through Friday, September 18.
Homecoming Week Schedule
Monday, September 14: Theme- Generations Day
Seniors Sell — after lunch
Seniors need to bring in items to sell to raise money for their class
Senior Meeting in the FabLab — 2:00 p.m.
Seniors will work on TN Promise & College Applications during 4th Block (2:00 p.m.). All seniors need to attend unless they have a college course scheduled during that time
Sophomores & Juniors meet with Jostens representative— 2:45 p.m.
Senior Parent Meeting in the FabLab — 5:30 p.m.
This event is not mandatory for students, but VERY helpful for parents to attend (even without their student) to hear from financial aid reps and Jostens with graduation information.
Homecoming Parade — 7:30 p.m.
Students should be lining up in the student parking lot by 6:30 p.m.
No candy is to be thrown from moving vehicles (can be handed out by people walking)
Tuesday, September 15: Theme- Color Wars
Powderpuff Practice — 11:35 a.m.
All participants need to go to first lunch and report to the gym after first lunch to meet your coaches and then you will practice on the field
All participants must have a signed parent permission form and a mouth guard
Juniors Sell — after lunch
Juniors need to bring in items to sell to raise money for their class
Wednesday, September 16: Theme- Dynamic Duo
Sophomores Sell — after lunch
Sophomore need to bring in items to sell to raise money for their class
Thursday, September 17: Theme- Country vs Country Club
College Fair Field Trip for Juniors — 9:00–11:00 a.m.
Students need to bring back their signed permission slip ASAP
Powderpuff Practice — 11:35 a.m.
All participants need to go to first lunch and then report to practice on the field
All participants must have a signed parent permission form and a mouth guard
Freshmen Sell — after lunch
Freshmen need to bring in items to sell to raise money for their class
Homecoming Court Practice — 10:05 p.m.
All participants wait to be called
Friday, September 18: Theme- Purple & Gold
Powderpuff Game — 9:15 a.m.
All participants must have a signed parent permission form and a mouth guard
All students participating will be released at 8:45 a.m.
Class Officers will be released at 9:00 a.m.
Olympics — 2:00 p.m.
Homecoming Ceremony — 6:30 p.m.
Homecoming Court Pictures — 5:00 p.m.
Announcing the winners of spirit week, Powderpuff King, Football Queen, and Homecoming Queen
Homecoming Game vs Greenback — 7:00 p.m.
We encourage our students and families to participate in the week’s activities and help make 2026 Homecoming a memorable celebration of our school and community.
