Tennessee Department of Education Honors Oliver Springs High School with Two-Time STEM Designation
NASHVILLE – At its annual awards ceremony, the Tennessee Department of Education proudly awarded Oliver Springs High School with a STEM Designation for the second time!
This award recognizes their continued excellence in delivering high-quality, integrated STEM education.
By earning this distinction for the second time, OSHS serves as a model for others across the state, and reflects the school’s dedication to creating a comprehensive, student-centered learning environment that emphasizes problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world application.

At OSHS, we’re thrilled to finally announce that our school has officially been designated a STEM School for the SECOND time by the Tennessee Department of Education! This honor recognizes our continued commitment to hands-on, innovative, and inclusive STEM education. Thank you to our amazing students, staff, and community for helping us lead the way!
