Oliver Springs High School is proud once again to announce that we are a Level 5 out of 5 School for student academic growth. Being a Level 5 school occurs due to the hard work and dedication from our staff, students, parents, community partners, and the community surrounding us. Our school continues to lead the way in innovation and providing high-quality opportunities for our students.
According to the Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System (TVAAS), the state defines a Level 5 as providing "significant evidence that the school's students made more growth than expected."
Oliver Springs High School has had a long standing track record of being a Level 5. It has almost been like a tradition of being a level 5. While there was a one year drop, we are now back on track as a Level 5 thanks to our great staff and students' hard work.
The Roane County School board recognized OSHS at their March school board meeting for this achievement.
Oliver Springs High School is proud of our staff and our students for accomplishing this great achievement and look forward to another year of growth and academic success! TNReady End of Course exams will begin next week on Wednesday and run through the rest of the month of April.
