Congratulations to all our high school perfect attendance drawing winners & our Bobcats of the Month.
Oliver Springs High School's student body selected Special Education Attendant Mrs. Tiffany Tarver to be awarded as the Faculty Member of the Month for November.
We had a few students state why they thought Mrs. Tarver should be Staff Member of the Month. Some students stated that “she is so nice to everyone she meets; she is also very funny and can make anyone laugh.” and “she is always helpful with anything. She's always nice and will talk to you if you need someone to talk to.”
All high school students with perfect attendance are entered into a drawing for a small monthly prize (one winner per grade level). The November winners for the Perfect Attendance drawing were Freshman Brandon Y., Sophomore Kaden J. (again! Great job!), Junior Jaylynn B., and Senior Ayden M.
Each month, there is a high school Bobcat of the Month from each grade level which is nominated by a faculty member and voted on by the staff. Bobcats of the Month receive a small prize with one lucky winner receiving a gift card. This month’s Bobcats of the Month are: Kaden Wright (Freshman), Ariel Freels (Sophomore), Phoebe Wells (Junior), and AJ Hale (Senior).
Mrs. Channell stated that Ariel is “just about the "perfect" student (nice, engaged, follows directions).” Mrs. White said that “Phoebe is always working to the best of her ability in ELA. She helps out her classmates, and she is respectful.” Mrs. Melhorn said that AJ Hale “went above and beyond helping office staff with stocking shipments of goods.” Mrs. Webber said that “Kaden is a well mannered, quiet, and confident kid.”
Honorable mentions include: Mason Miller, Nathanial Fletcher, Tristan Moore, Jordan Gray, Orben Braden, Casey Lowery, Connor Williams. Jase Purser, and Walker Booth.
