Oliver Springs High School Beta Club Member Places in National Competition
The last few months, National Beta member and recent OSHS 2024 graduate Lydia Yoakley has been working hard to prepare her entry for the National Beta Convention.
Lydia originally competed and received awards during the TN State Convention held in November of 2023. Her victory at the state level for the second year in a row provided an opportunity to compete at the national level again! The National Convention, held in Savannah, GA, provided all students the opportunity to compete. Over 3,000 Elementary Beta (grades 4-5), 4,800 Junior Beta (grades 6-8) and 6,100 Senior Beta (grades 9-12) students were able to represent their schools both this summer.
Congratulations, Lydia, for placing 4th at the National Convention! You represented OSHS well once again and we wish you luck in your bright future!
