The Service Learning class taught by Mrs. Given has been working on making blankets for Project Linus. Project Linus is a nonprofit organization that collects new, homemade blankets to be gifted to children who are seriously ill or traumatized for children aged 0-18. This organization donates to many East TN local charities such as the Ronald McDonald House, East TN Children's Hospital, Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, and the Avalon Center among many others.
